Regional planning agencies forecast that demand for employees continues to grow. These programs train students in their chosen occupational areas, and the curriculum is designed to promote learning opportunities and hands-on practice to insure that students are proficient in using computer applications, hardware, software, and networks. Instructors provide professional guidance and teach the ethical foundations for using computer information and software appropriately. NCTC provides access to a modern collection of essential hardware, software, and telecommunication tools to help students achieve workplace competencies. Information Technology Computer Information Systems & Technology The Computer Information Systems and Technology program is designed to prepare students for computer technology and networking-related careers that require specialized skills. Cyber Security Cyber Security Cyber Security is an exhilarating field that is in high demand in our digital age. This career requires planning and intense training. At NCTC, students have access to hands-on experience with instructors who are professionals in this area based on real world scenarios. Databases Database Administration & Management Databases are the backbone of any company and the demand to keep data systems running increases annually. The curriculum at NCTC provides students with the tools and skills for industry certification. Gaming & Mobile App Gaming & Mobile App Programming For creative-minded students, the Gaming and Mobile App program is an opportunity to explore many avenues that exist in the thrilling career of video game and mobile app design. Networking Networking Technology Networking is the engineering discipline concerned with the communication and connection between computer systems and/or devices. Our goal at NCTC is ensure students have the knowledge and training necessary to attain industry certification and enter this dynamic career field. Web Development Web Development The Web Development curriculum is designed to prepare students for careers in the high demand of Web Development segment of the workforce. Each area of the curriculum provides entry level skills and prepares the student for industry certification in the chosen field of study.
